Formation of the Band La Filarmonica Del Zurrico.
1883
A number of musicians abandon the band to form a new band.
1895
The musicians who left the band two years previously return to the fold. The band is named La Concordia.
1897
The Band participates in the jubilee celebrations of Queen Victoria.
1899
A number of musicians again abandon the band and start legal proceedings to have the band dissolved. Their request is denied.
1900
The Band merges with the Circolo la Stella (Now The Carmelite Society).
1905
Circolo La Stella and the band were the first band in the village to have their premises in the main square.
1908
The Band assumes the new name of Queen Victoria Band. New winter and summer uniforms introduced.
1911
The Band participates in the coronation celebrations of King George V.
1912
The Band holds the first morning marathon march on the feast day being one of the original bands to introduce this activity.
1916
Together with other band clubs the band held marches in Valletta as part of the war activities.
1920
Feast not celebrated due to dispute with ecclesiastical authorities.
1921
The Malta General Assembly. Zurrieq represented by the Band’s Director and Secretary, Mro. F. Bugeja.
1925
The Statue of Our Lady reguilded for the first time.
1931
A banner (bandalora) donated to the band.
1935
Participation in the jubilee celebrations of King George V.
1936
Restriction of feast imposed by ecclesiastical authorities. Feast not held in protest.
1937
Band participates in coronation celebrations of King George VI. 1939
Till 1945. The War. No feast held anywhere. Band marches held in 1941 and 1943 to bolster the moral of the people and celebrate the allied victories in Tripoli and Tunis.
1945
Band marches took place to celebrate the end of the war.
1946
Till then still the only band in the village accompanies the new archpriest of the village to the church for his investiture.
1948
New set of musical instrument inaugurated.
1951
Celebrations held to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the scapular. New highly decorated banner inaugurated.
1953
The Band participates in the coronation festivities of Queen Elizabeth II.
1954
New Band Stand inaugurated.
1954-58
The Band participates in the Carnival festivities at Valletta.
1955
Eviction order issued by court.
1964
Participation in National Independence celebrations.
1975
Restrictions in outdoor festivities lifted.
1976
New bandstand inaugurated.
1977
Band participates in Republic Day celebrations. The Band plays in the funeral of its Spiritual Director, Dun Luret Zammit.
1979
Band participates in Freedom Day celebrations.
1989
Lightning hits fireworks factory. Two people die in resulting explosion. The outdoor activites usually held during the feast were cancelled.
1990
Celebrations held to mark the 125th anniversary of the Band.
1993
Band accompanies the statue of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with religious hymns on its return to the village after its restoration in Mdina.
1993
The participates in celebrations to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the elevation of the parish in arch. Celebrations by the Band on the occasion of the acqusion of its premises.
1993
Official foundation of the Youth section and Female section.
1997
The President of the Republic Dr. Ugo Mifsud Bonnici lays the foundation stone of the new premises.
1997
The Band participates in the feast of St. Paul in Palazzolo Acreide, Sicily.
1998
Celebrations held to mark the 5th anniversary of the youth section
2000
Special celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of the merger between the Circolo La Stella and La Concordia (see 1900).
2001
The Carmelite Society and Queen Victoria Band hold special celebrations to mark the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Zurrieq (1801).
2001
The Band holds classical musical program in the famous Manoel Theatre in Valletta on the occasion of the feast of Saint Cecilia patron saint of musicians.

Official inauguration of ‘Leħen il-Karmelitani’ Radio Station aired on 101.4 FM

The Carmelite Society and Queen Victoria Band hold special celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of the official foundation of the Youth Section and Female Section.

Celebrations held to mark the 140th anniversary of Queen Victoria Band.

Official inauguration of the Carmelite Society and Queen Victoria Band premises.
2007
The Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory was declared as the overall winner of the second edition of the Malta International Fireworks and Food Festival.
2009
Celebrations held to mark the 50th anniversary of Emmanuel Camilleri as secretary of the Carmelite Society and Queen Victoria Band.
